Thiago Cesar is the co-founder of Transfero Swiss AG. He is a pioneer in the crypto industry with more than 7 years of experience as an entrepreneur and a researcher. With prior experience as Business Manager at the Automotive Divison of Daewoo International, he focused on Trade Finance operations between Brazil, China and South Korea from 2011 to 2013. In 2015 Thiago co-founded Bit.One, launching one of the first Bitcoin enabled payment gateways in Brazil and also the first Brazilian Bitcoin debit card in 2016. In 2017 the company expanded to Switzerland to become Transfero Swiss, one of the main crypto-asset management firms with presences in Brazil, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Malta and the Bahamas. He also made a mark in education, having been one of the first to defend an academic thesis about bitcoin and performing solid research at the Institute of Economic Affairs focusing on the macro economic aspects of bitcoin and the blockchain. Connected to the academia and the traditional financial industry alike, he is a frequent speaker at top class institutions and events such as Oxford University, George Washington University, Eurofinance and the Brazilian Central Bank. Holds a master in Economics and International Management, having attended the University of London.

Claudio Just

CHIEF OPERATION OFFICER

Claudio Just is Co-Founder of Bit.One and Transfero Swiss AG. He is a serial entrepreneur and internet executive with over 20 years of experience in Internet Consumer Products. Also has experience as startups consultant and is an expert in innovation in the brazilian market. He holds a BA from PUC, Rio de Janeiro.

Fabio Freitas

HEAD OF TECHNOLOGY

Fabio Freitas is the Chief Technology Officer of Transfero Swiss AG. Before joining the company he co-founded Movile, one of the digital unicorns in the Brazilian ecosystem. Active in brazilian digital entrepreneurship with over 20 years of experience, he also founded the Dot Legend Mobile Apps. He played a relevant role in the technology and product areas of the companies he coordinated. He holds a BS in Systems Analysis from PUC, Rio de Janeiro, and attended COPPE/UFRJ, Rio de Janeiro for his Master in Systems Engineering.

Guilherme Murtinho

MANAGING PARTNER

Guilherme Murtinho is Co-Founder of Bit.One and Transfero Swiss AG. He is an entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in Business, Strategic Planning, Communication and Advertising. Holds a BA from PUC-RJ and is a Branding Specialist by IED - Istituto Europeo di Design.

Márlyson Silva

CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER

Marlyson Silva is Co-Founder of Bit.One and Transfero Swiss AG. He is a Technology expert with exceptional analytical, managerial, communication and problem solving skills with over 17 years of experience in IT working in some of the most reputable companies in Brazil. Has experience in solid industries as: Banking, Insurance, Electronic Payments and most recently Blockchain & Bitcoin. Responsible for developing the first payment gateway in Brazil to accept cryptocurrencies and manage a project to make a POS to accept Bitcoin as a payment method.

Carlos Franco Russo

HEAD OF RESEARCH AND PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT

Carlos Russo is the Head of Research and Portfolio Management at Transfero Swiss. With previous experience in Banking at BTG Pactual and Venture Capital portfolio management at Criatec, fund backed by the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) with more than USD 200 Million in committed capital. Joined Transfero in 2017 to run the cryptoassets trading desk and led the asset management initiatives at the firm and the development of the first stable coin pegged to the Brazilian Real, the BRZ. Carlos has also been a speaker at the Bahamas Financial Services Board Fintech Seminar and the Blockmaster forum in Brazil presenting the recent developments in Decentralized Finance (DeFi). He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and a MSc./MBA from Coppead (UFRJ) with extension at Wharton Business School (UPENN), being awarded the highest academic scholarship and graduating at the top (1st) of his class and having participated as a consultant in financial services projects at the Mack Institute for Innovation Management at Wharton.

Julian Lanzadera

GENERAL COUNSEL AND HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT LATAM

Julian Lanzadera is the General Counsel and Head of Business Development LATAM for Transfero Swiss AG. Previously he worked at Eskenazi Pernidji, where he spent over six years practicing as a corporate lawyer leading M&A, Banking and Corporate Restructuring cross boarder transactions. He has background experience working in the corporate practices at law firms such as Veirano Advogados, Barbosa, Mussnich e Aragão Advogados and was also part of the legal team for 2 years at EBX Group. He holds an LLM in Taxation from Fundação Getúlio Vargas.

Roberto Santacroce Martins

HEAD OF BLOCKCHAIN

Roberto Santacroce Martins assumed the position of head of the Blockchain and Bitcoins Operation of Transfero Swiss AG. Santacroce arrives to bring its 21-year experience in entrepreneurship, innovation and systems development. For the past 9 years, his focus has been on learning and developing bitcoin-related software. Recently, he've been colaborating to Nym mixnet project. He was also a consultant in several crypto companies including at Bitcoin Center New York in 2014. Also occupy the CTO charge of BRQ Digital Solutions, a company focused on digitizing banks, insurance companies, telecommunications companies and other leading companies in their sectors.
